Tasmiyah Leather Fashions

Our place, Tasmiyah Leather Fashions, is tucked away on the first floor of the Bevis Company Compound. You have to go to 89/208 in Bansmandi to find us. It’s a bit of a maze in this compound sometimes, with all the different businesses operating near each other. We like being on the first floor because it’s easier for moving things in and out than being higher up. The space is filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of various materials we use for our leather work. It’s not a quiet office environment by any means. We spend most of our time at the workbenches or checking the storage racks. Bansmandi is a very active area, and the energy from the street usually makes its way inside. At 89/208, 1St Floor, we have our own way of doing things that might look disorganized to someone else, but it works for us. We’ve got stacks of patterns and cut pieces of leather all over the place. Someone is usually drinking tea while they look over a ledger. We are just a group of people working hard at Tasmiyah Leather Fashions. The windows don’t stay clean for long because of all the dust in the compound, but that’s just life here. We focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle of a busy workday. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy.
