Leather Era

Leather Era is our little spot over at 94/130 on Nai Sarak. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people and there is a lot of noise from the street. We’ve been here a good while, working with all sorts of leather items day in and day out. It’s a bit of a dusty job sometimes, but we like it. The smell of the material is something you just get used to after the first week. We aren't trying to be some big high-end boutique. We just make things and sell them. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the rolls and the finished pieces. Sometimes you have to sidestep a pile of boxes just to get to the back. We do the cutting, the stitching, and all the bits that go into making leather goods. It’s honest work. Nai Sarak is a great place to be because there’s so much life around us, even if it gets a bit overwhelming at times. We’ve got a few regulars who drop by just to chat or see what’s new. We don't use any fancy machines, just the old ones that have been with us for years and still work fine. That’s pretty much us. We’re Leather Era and we’re just here doing our thing on Nai Sarak every day except Sundays. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just do the work.
