Famous Leather Belt

Famous Leather Belt has been in Misri Bazar for a long time. Our address is 42/157, right near Meston Road. The market is always loud and busy. We make belts right here in the back of the shop. You can smell the leather as soon as you walk in. It is a strong smell but we like it. We use thick hides and old machines. They still work fine even if they make a lot of noise. My father started this and now I run it. We don’t do fancy packaging. You just get a good belt that won't break after a month. We have different buckles and colors too. People from all over the city come to Meston Road to find us. It’s a small space, so you have to watch your step. We don't have a website or anything. If you want a belt, you just come down to the bazar. We stay open late most nights because that's when it gets busy. Sometimes we run out of a certain size but we can usually make it for you if you wait. It's honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a leather shop in a busy market. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years. But we stay right here. It's just a simple life for us here in the bazar.
