We’ve been based at 88/326 Chaman Ganj for quite a few years now. If you know the area, you know it's always packed with people and trade. Our office is right in the thick of it. We deal with international trade, which sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking lists of goods. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks or the paperwork gets stuck, and that’s just part of the life. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a regular door in Chaman Ganj. The office is full of files and samples of things we've shipped over the years. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but we know where everything is. Obaid International is a small team. We don't have an HR department or a marketing guy. We just handle the shipping and the sourcing ourselves. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days it feels like we can't move fast enough. We like it that way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't use big words or try to act like we're a huge company. We're just people doing business from a small corner of the city. We don't have any grand slogans, we just ship stuff.
