Taiba Leathers

Taiba Leathers is situated at No. 15-202 C in Civil Lines. It’s a bit of an older building, but it suits what we do. When you walk in, you can immediately smell the leather, which is something we’ve all grown used to. We have different types of leather stacked up in various sections of the room. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we sort through materials. We spend a lot of time checking the hides to see if they are okay and making sure they are stored properly so they don't get damaged. Civil Lines is a decent area to work in, and we’ve been at this address for quite a while. Our team is small, mostly just a few people who know their way around leather. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals pasted on the walls. We just focus on the leather we have in front of us. Some days we are busy packing orders to be sent out, and other days we are just organizing the stock. It can get a bit dusty, and the floors are often covered in scraps, but that’s just how it is when you work with leather. We like the practical nature of the work. It’s honest labor, and being at 15-202 C gives us the space we need to get it done.
