Sweety Beauty Point

If you go down the lane where the Union Bank is in Kaushalpuri, you’ll find Sweety Beauty Point at number 118/569. It’s a small place in a narrow street in Kanpur. Most of our customers are neighbors who live just a few doors down. We have a simple sign outside that's a bit faded from the sun. Inside, it's cozy, maybe a bit too cozy when more than two people are waiting. I keep my tools in small plastic trays on the counter. We do hair, threading, and the occasional bridal makeup if someone in the lane is getting married. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy the busy days. The walls are painted a light color to make it feel bigger than it is. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. Sometimes the neighbors bring their kids along, and they sit on the floor while their mothers get their hair done. It’s that kind of place. We don't have any fancy machines or expensive chairs. Everything is basic and does the job. I’ve lived in this part of Kanpur my whole life, so I know almost everyone who walks by. It’s not a big corporate shop, just a small point for people to come and feel a bit better about their look. We close up when the street gets dark.
