Super Tannery Kanpur

We operate out of Jajmau Road, right at number 187/170. Kanpur has always been a hub for this kind of leather work, so we fit right in. Working with hides is a messy business, but it’s what we know. The smell of the tannery is something you get used to after the first week on the job. We spend most of our time dealing with raw materials and processing them into something usable. It’s heavy work and our hands usually show it by the end of the shift. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we get things done. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. Some of us have been here for years. Jajmau Road is always dusty and full of trucks, which makes getting supplies in and out a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Usually, I'm just sitting at a wooden desk covered in paperwork and leather samples. We focus on getting the product right before it goes out. It takes a lot of time and you can't really rush the soaking or drying. If you try to move too fast, the quality suffers, and we don't want that. We just keep our heads down and work through the orders as they come. It's not a glamorous life, but it's steady. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. That's just the daily routine.
