Sunakshi Beauty Parlour

You can find my parlour in Harjinder Nagar, right on Subhash Road. We are directly in front of the Shivam Book Stall, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. This part of Kanpur, near the Lal Bangla Duppata Nagar Market, is always buzzing with shoppers. I opened this place because I wanted a small business of my own. It is a simple setup inside with a couple of chairs and all my tools on the counter. I do all the usual things like eyebrows, facials, and hair cutting for the ladies in the area. Often, mothers will come in with their daughters after doing their grocery shopping in the market. We have a lot of chats about family and life while I work. The shop is not very big, but I try to keep it looking nice with some pictures on the walls. Sometimes the street noise from Subhash Road is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. I don't have any big signs or advertisements. Most people just see the shop when they are going to the book stall or walking through Harjinder Nagar. It is a practical business and I do my best to make sure the work is done properly. I like being part of the local market scene. It feels like we are all neighbors here. I just take things one day at a time and keep the shop open till late evening for whoever needs a quick service.
