Style On Beauty Parlour

Our shop, Style On Beauty Parlour, is located at Block Number 3 in Govind Nagar. We are right on the main road, not too far from the Gurdwara. Being near the Gurdwara is nice because it’s a landmark everyone knows. The traffic on Govind Nagar Main Road can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Inside the parlor, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We have our chairs lined up and a small area for people to sit while they wait their turn. It’s a local place through and through. We do hair cutting, coloring, and the usual beauty stuff that people around here ask for. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end places you see in the city center. This is just a practical shop for practical people. I usually start the day by cleaning the mirrors and checking if the water heater is working properly. We get a lot of aunties from the surrounding blocks who have been coming to us for years. They like to talk about their families while we work. It’s a friendly atmosphere, but we mostly just focus on the task at hand. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and that’s plenty for us. It’s just how things go here in Kanpur. We have a small sink in the back and it's always a struggle to keep the floor dry. But we manage. Sometimes we have to run out to get more supplies nearby. It keeps us busy.
