Shalin Overseas

Shalin Overseas is tucked away in the Yashoda Nagar neighborhood. It is a residential area mostly, so it is a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big market. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork for goods that are going out of the country or coming in. Most of the work happens at the desks with a lot of phone calls and emails. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they still get the job done. The office is filled with files and folders from years of doing this. Sometimes we have to go down to the ports or shipping yards to check on things, but we spend a lot of time right here in Yashoda Nagar. There isn't much to look at in the office, just some plain walls and a few stacks of boxes waiting to be sent out. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything. From answering the door to sorting out shipping labels, there is always something to do. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too silent. It is a steady kind of business where you have to pay attention to the details. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee or tea during the day. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is our livelihood.
