Green India Seeds

You can find Green India Seeds at number 54 on Old Shivali Road in Kalyanpur. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there’s always a lot of dust flying around from the traffic. We spend a good chunk of our morning just wiping down the counters and the chairs so things stay presentable. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of storage racks along the walls. We have an old wooden desk that has been with the company since the start, and it’s where we do all the hard thinking and paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, so we just sit by the open door and wait for it to come back on. The people who live nearby often stop in just to say hello or ask about the weather. We don't have any fancy computer systems; we still write a lot of things down in big registers with blue ink. The ceiling fan wobbles a little bit on its highest setting, but it keeps the air moving, which is all we really care about. It’s a simple life here on Old Shivali Road. We keep the floor swept, the registers filled out, and the door open for whoever happens to wander in. It’s not a complicated business, just a lot of repetitive tasks that we’ve gotten used to over the years. We usually share a few laughs before closing up. It is really just a place where we work.
