Madwapur Farms

Madwapur Farms is located at 7/190 in Swaroop Nagar. It’s not a typical farm with hundreds of acres out in the middle of nowhere; we are right here in the neighborhood. We focus on bringing farm products to the people living nearby. Our space is usually filled with crates and the smell of fresh earth or whatever we’ve brought in for the day. We started this because we felt there was a gap between the actual growers and the people in Swaroop Nagar. Most of our time is spent talking to suppliers or checking the quality of what we have on hand. We aren't polished people; we usually have dirt under our fingernails and wear comfortable clothes because the work is physical. It’s not a fancy shop with bright lights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where things move in and out quickly. Swaroop Nagar is a busy place, and we fit right in with the other local businesses. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just want to make sure the produce is good and that we can sell it at a fair price to everyone. Some mornings are a bit of a scramble when the deliveries arrive late, but we manage. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we enjoy being the middle point for fresh goods in this part of town. It keeps us busy and connected to the ground.
