Shalimar Leather Industries

Working at Shalimar Leather Industries means dealing with the smell of hides and the sound of machines every day. We are located at 74-a/150 Feet Road in Jajmau, which is a place known for this kind of work. The shop floor is usually pretty dusty, and there’s always someone moving scraps around or checking the machines. It’s hard work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and holds everything we need. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorating the front office because that’s not what we’re about. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Jajmau is a busy spot, and the traffic on 150 Feet Road can be a real headache in the mornings. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, chatting until things get back up and running. It’s a tight-knit group of people working here. We know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It's just a regular leather place doing what needs to be done to keep things moving along. Nothing more, nothing less than that. There’s no need to make it sound better than it actually is.
