S V M International is located at H-15 in Site 1 of the Panki Industrial Estate. If you know Kanpur, you know Panki is a massive area for industry. It’s full of large units and factories, and we are just one of the smaller ones in the mix. Site 1 is usually pretty busy with transport vehicles and people moving back and forth. Our building at H-15 is a straightforward industrial structure. We don't have any decorations or fancy paint jobs. It’s just a place of work. Inside, we handle the international side of things, which involves a lot of documentation and checking of goods. The estate can be quite noisy with all the machinery around, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have been here for a good amount of time and have gotten to know the other business owners nearby. We don't have any big brochures or marketing people on staff. It’s just us doing the daily grind. Sometimes the power cuts out for an hour, and we just sit and wait or talk about the weather until it comes back on. That’s just life in an industrial estate like Panki. We keep things practical and don't make a big fuss. H-15 is where we are, and we just keep on going with our work day after day. It’s a long way from the city center, but we have everything we need right here.
