Roop Shringar Astha Beauty Parlour

Roop Shringar Astha Beauty Parlour is located at Shop No. 116 in the Kda Market on Zoo Road. We are quite close to Manorama Palace in the Vikash Nagar area of Kanpur. My shop is one of many in this market and it stays pretty busy because of the location. I do general beauty stuff for women like hair styling, face packs, and bridal dressing when it is the right season. The shop itself is not very large but I have managed to fit in everything I need to work. Being in Kda Market means there is always a lot of movement outside and plenty of noise from the shoppers. I have a few regulars who have been with me since I first opened. I usually start my day early to get everything ready before the first customer arrives. Sometimes the electricity goes out which is common in Kanpur so I keep some candles and a hand fan ready just in case. I don't use any complicated machines just my hands and some basic tools. It is a humble place and I don't pretend it is anything else. I enjoy the work especially when a customer looks in the mirror and seems happy with how they look. It is a decent way to support my family and stay connected with the local community here in Vikash Nagar. I like being my own boss.
