Rakesh Hair Dressers

Our shop, Rakesh Hair Dressers, is tucked away in Ravatpur Gaav at number 116/805. It’s been in this part of Kanpur for a good bit of time now. People around here just call it Rakesh’s place. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work for everyone who walks in. Mostly, it’s local guys from the village and the nearby areas. We do haircuts, shaves, and the usual stuff you expect at a barber shop. We don't use fancy equipment, just the standard scissors and clippers that have served us well over the years. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, but the shop can get lively when the regulars start chatting. We open up early in the morning because a lot of workers like to get cleaned up before their shift starts. Kanpur weather is either too hot or too cold, so we try to keep the shop comfortable enough for everyone. There’s a small mirror for every chair and a place to put your phone or keys while you sit down. We aren't trying to be like those stylish salons in the city center. This is just a place for an honest haircut. Sometimes we have tea while we work if it's a slow afternoon.
