Raju Catering

If you walk down towards Kali Mathiya in Shastri Nagar, you’ll find us at 122/630. This is where Raju Catering operates from. It’s not a shiny storefront, just a practical place where we get the cooking done. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and most of our days are spent managing the logistics of moving food from our kitchen to wherever the party is. We deal with a lot of different menus, depending on what the customer asks for. Sometimes it is just a small dinner for twenty people, other times it’s a huge crowd. My hands are usually stained with turmeric or smelling like onions by the end of the shift. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, as most of our business happens through word of mouth and quick phone calls. The area around Kali Mathiya is usually crowded, so getting our supplies in and out can be a bit of a challenge in the afternoons. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job, whether it’s cleaning the big pans or packing the disposable plates. It’s a messy, loud, and busy environment, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, cook the food, and make sure it gets to the venue before the guests arrive.
