Jagannath Caterers

We are Jagannath Caterers and you can find us over at 110/43 in Jawahar Nagar. It is a busy little spot and we have been here for a long time. The building is pretty old but it works for what we need to do. Most of our time is spent in the back area where all the big pots and heavy iron pans are kept. Jawahar Nagar is a crowded place so getting our supplies delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes with the narrow lanes. We usually have flour on our clothes and the smell of spices follows us home after work. It is not a glamorous job by any means. We cook for all sorts of things like small birthdays or family get-togethers in the neighborhood. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting and we have a few local guys who come in when things get really busy during the wedding season. We do not use any fancy machines, just basic tools and a lot of hand work. Sometimes the sink leaks a little bit but we fixed it with some tape for now until the plumber comes. That is just how it is here. We are not trying to be the biggest company in town. We just want to make sure the food is ready on time and that people in Jawahar Nagar are fed. If you walk past you might hear us arguing about whose turn it is to clean the big pans.
