We are located over in Kaka Deo, right at 117/N/91. Most people know the spot because we are directly opposite Manas Park. It is a good place to be because when the office gets a bit stuffy, you can just look out the window at the trees across the street. Kaka Deo is always crowded with students and people rushing around to different coaching centers, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We have been handling learning resources here for some time now. Our space is filled with stacks of books and papers that we try to keep in some kind of order, though it does not always stay that way during the busy season. The front door sticks a little when the weather gets humid, which is basically half the year in Kanpur. We usually start our day around ten, checking what materials need to be sent out or sorted. It is a practical office, not one of those shiny corporate places you see in the big cities. We have a few plastic chairs for visitors and a big desk where most of the work happens. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and wait for the generator to kick in. It is just me and a couple of others here most days, making sure the resources are ready for whoever needs them. We like being near the park because it makes the whole area feel a bit more open.
