Our workshop is at C-3 Udhyog Nagar, right near the C.T.I. landmark. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where the actual work gets done. We handle leather here. That means there is always a certain heavy smell in the air and plenty of scraps on the floor by the end of the shift. We aren’t a big fancy company with a polished front desk or a lobby. Usually, you’ll find us in the back near the machines or checking the raw hides for any marks or holes. It’s noisy work because of the heavy equipment, and the floors are just bare concrete. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of our guys have been working with leather for years, so they really know the material well. We don't put out brochures or have big meetings about goals. We just get the orders in and start cutting and stitching as fast as we can. The sun beats down on the metal roof in the summer, making it pretty warm inside for everyone. We just drink plenty of water and keep the work moving. It’s just a regular factory setup. We focus on the leather and making sure the pieces are put together properly so they don't fall apart. It’s a messy job sometimes, but we are used to the grease and the dust. That is just how leather work goes in a place like this.
