Prabha Beauty Parlour

Prabha Beauty Parlour is located right in Agnihotri Market in the Barra area of Kanpur. It’s a busy little market, and our shop is just one of the many small businesses there. We’ve been here for a few years now, helping the ladies in the neighborhood with their beauty needs. It’s not a huge parlour, but we have enough space for threading, waxing, and hair treatments. Most of our customers are women who live nearby and just want to get something done quickly while they’re out shopping for groceries. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just learned the work and stayed at it. The shop has a few mirrors and some chairs that aren't the newest, but they're comfortable enough. During the festival season, it gets really hectic in here, and sometimes we have to ask people to come back later. We try to keep the place tidy, though it’s hard when you’re busy all day. My daughter helps me out when she’s not at college. We don’t do any big advertising, people just see our board in the market and walk in. It’s a friendly place where everyone knows everyone’s business. We just do the work, chat with the customers, and go home in the evening. If you’re walking through Agnihotri Market, you’ll find us easily. It’s just a simple, local parlour run by local people who know their job and their neighbors.
