Pooja Gents Hair Cutting Saloon is located at 37-E Vikash Nagar, right near the Zoo Road in Kanpur. It’s a pretty easy place to find once you are in the Vikash Nagar area. Our saloon is a simple one for men and boys. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and I’ve lived in Kanpur all my life. The shop is usually full of guys chatting about local things while waiting for a haircut. We have the standard chairs and the mirrors have been there since we opened. We do haircuts, shaves, and head massages. Nothing fancy, just the things a man needs to look tidy. The neighborhood is good, and we get a lot of regulars who live just a few streets away. Sometimes people coming back from the zoo stop in if they have some time. We don't have a big staff, just me and a couple of others. We take our time with each person so nobody feels rushed. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a good ceiling fan. We like the rhythm of the day here. It’s a solid business and we appreciate the people who choose to come to us instead of the big chains. We keep our tools sharp and our shop clean. That’s about all there is to it.
