Paradise Beauty Parlour

You can find us at 419, Keshav Puram in Kanpur. We are quite close to Brahm Dev Chauraha, which is a big landmark around here. The parlour is just a simple room we set up to help the women in the locality with their beauty needs. Kanpur is a crowded city, and Keshav Puram can get quite noisy with all the rickshaws and bikes. Inside the shop, it is a bit more peaceful. We do a lot of threading, waxing, and hair cutting. It is a very hands-on job. We don't have any big corporate backing or fancy decorations. It’s just plain walls and a few comfortable chairs. We have a small table where we keep our registers and some basic supplies. Many of our customers are students or housewives who live just around the corner from Brahm Dev Chauraha. They like coming here because they know us. We don't put on airs. We just talk like we always do. Sometimes we share tea while waiting for the hair dye to set. It is a relaxed atmosphere. We open up early and close once the last customer is finished. There are no fixed shifts or anything. We just manage it ourselves. It’s been our way of life for some years now. The business isn't complicated. We just provide a space for people to come and get their grooming done without any fuss.
