We are situated at 197/189, Ram Rai Sarai in Jajmau. If you know Jajmau, you know it’s the heart of the leather industry here. The smell of the tanneries is everywhere, and we are right in the thick of it. Our place is a mix of an office and a storage area. We have stacks of finished leather waiting to be moved out. It’s a dusty, busy environment, but that’s the nature of the work. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the trade inside and out. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There’s always the sound of machines or trucks loading up in the alley. We have a crew that’s been with us for a while, and they know the routine. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to impress people. We just show the leather and tell them what we have. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get blocked, but we just deal with it. It’s part of living and working in this area. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we handle the billing. We don't have a big marketing department. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with people who know the leather. It’s hard, honest work, and we are fine with that. We just show up and get it done.
