New Vaishno Mohini Beauty Parlour

We’re located out on G T Road in Chaubepur. New Vaishno Mohini Beauty Parlour is a place I put a lot of work into. Kanpur is a big place, but here in 209203, things feel a bit more like a community. The shop is right where most people pass through on the main road. I wanted a place where women could come and get their hair done or get ready for a wedding without having to travel too far. It’s mostly just me here. I do the hair, the makeup, and the cleaning. It’s a lot of work but I don’t mind. The G T Road is always loud with trucks and cars, but inside we try to keep it calm. I’ve got my mirrors set up and a few chairs for people to wait. Sometimes neighbors just drop by for a cup of tea and a chat even if they don’t need anything done. I think that’s what makes a local business work. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. Word of mouth is how people find us. Usually, someone tells their sister or their friend about the parlor and then they show up. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. I try to keep the prices fair so everyone can come in. Living and working in Chaubepur has its ups and downs, but having this shop makes me feel like I’m doing something useful for the ladies who live here.
