New Alisha Beauty Parlour

You can find my parlour at 87/356 on the Main Road in Acharya Nagar. Kanpur is always such a busy city, and this street is usually packed with people. I’ve had New Alisha Beauty Parlour here for several years now. It isn't a massive place, just a few chairs and a small area for doing bridal work or threading. I handle most of the customers myself, but my cousin helps out when the wedding season starts and things get really hectic. The walls have some simple paint and a few posters of different hairstyles I can do. I don't really go for anything too modern or high-tech. People come here because they know I'll do a decent job and won't charge them too much money. I see the same ladies every month, and we usually end up talking about our families or what’s happening in the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, but I have a small backup light so we don't sit in the dark. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so I keep the curtains closed to keep the sun out. Most of my clients are just women from the houses nearby who drop in after their housework is done. It’s a friendly little spot where everyone knows everyone else.
