Leather Era is located at No. 94/130 on Nai Sarak. This street is pretty famous for a lot of things and we are glad to be a small part of it. We work with leather, plain and simple. When you walk into our small space, the first thing you notice is the heavy smell of the hides. It’s a strong scent but we’ve grown to love it over the many years we've been here. We spend our time cutting, stitching, and finishing various leather goods. We use old tools that have been around for a long time because they still work the best for us. We don't have a big factory with machines doing all the work. It’s mostly done by hand right here on our benches. Nai Sarak is always busy with people walking past, and sometimes they pop in just to see what we are making that day. We don't have a polished sales pitch or anything like that. We just show people the quality of the leather and the strength of the stitches we use. It’s a slow process making things this way, but we think it’s worth the extra effort. We aren't a big corporation. We are just craftsmen who know how to handle a needle and a sharp knife. Every piece we make has some small imperfections because it's handmade, but that's what makes it feel real. We just keep doing what we know, day after day.
