My Leather Enterprises

We are located at 89/337 Deputy Ka Parao, which is a place known for its leather work. Our building is old and doesn't have any of those modern glass windows or shiny signs. Inside, it smells strongly of tanned hides and glue, which is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We handle all sorts of leather pieces, mostly raw materials and some simple manufactured items. The floors are hard concrete and we have these heavy wooden tables where we inspect the skins for any flaws. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting rolls of leather and moving them to the cutting area. We don't have an air conditioner, just a few old ceiling fans that hum loudly all day. We spend most of our time talking to the suppliers and the local craftsmen who come to pick up what they need for their own shops. It’s a very hands-on business. There isn't a corporate office with people in suits here. We wear boots and clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of dust or dye on. The neighborhood is crowded with trucks and small carts, so getting things in and out takes some patience. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It’s honest work and we have been doing it from this same spot for many years without changing much about how we operate.
