Ms Unisex Saloon & Professional Academy

We are located at 9/80 in Arya Nagar, which is quite close to the Ganzess Club in Kanpur. This place is a bit different because it isn't just a salon where people get their hair cut. We also have the academy part where we teach younger people how to do this kind of work. It gets pretty crowded inside because you have the regular customers and then you have the students trying to learn. The students are usually nervous at first, holding the scissors like they might drop them. We spend a lot of time showing them the right way to hold a comb or mix the colors. The street outside can be a mess with parking, but somehow everyone finds a spot. We have been here for a bit and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to get to it. The chairs are lined up and we have separate sections so it doesn’t get too confusing. It’s a lot of work running both things at once. Usually, the morning is quiet, and then by the afternoon, the students arrive and the noise level goes way up. We use a lot of different products and the shelves are always full of bottles and jars. It's a busy life here in Kanpur, and we just keep moving from one person to the next until it’s time to close up at the end of the day.
