M/S. Immage Beauty Parlour

Our place is at 109/114 in Javahi Nagar, which is a busy little corner of Kanpur. We have been here for quite some time now, just doing the usual beauty work for the ladies in the area. The shop is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of the time it is just the sound of the ceiling fan and someone talking about their family. We do a lot of threadings and basic hair cuts. People just walk in when they have a free hour from their house work. It is a very normal neighborhood shop. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. The mirrors are clear and the chairs are comfortable enough for a quick sit. Kanpur gets really dusty, so we are always wiping things down to keep it decent. Sometimes we share tea with the customers if it is a slow afternoon. It feels like a small community here. We know who is getting married and whose kids are doing well in school. It is just about getting your work done and feeling a bit better when you walk out the door. We stay open through the heat and the rain. There is no big sign out front, just the name and the door. It is a practical place for practical people who just want to get their hair or skin looked after without any fuss or high prices.
