Started at the Jaimau location. We are over at Sultan Tanners. It's a busy spot. The leather smell is everywhere here. People think it's easy but it's just a lot of moving things around. The heat gets to you sometimes. Jaimau is always crowded with trucks. We spend most of our time just looking at hides and checking the piles. It isn't a fancy office. Just some desks and a lot of work on the floor. Most days we are just trying to keep up. The tea around here is okay, helps get through the afternoon. We've seen the area change a bit, more traffic mostly. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s how things go here. Not much to look at really, just a place where we do our business every day. Some of the guys have been here for years and they know the routine by heart. It’s noisy and dusty but it’s our spot. We don't really have a big sign or anything, just Model Tanners India Pvt. Ltd. written where people can find us. If you’re coming down the road, you’ll see the other tanneries too. It’s all the same kind of work around here. We just try to get the orders done and go home. Nothing more to it than that. We are just local people doing the job the way it has always been done.
