If you go down Galla Mandi Road in Shastri Nagar, you will find us at 333/5. We are very close to Centre Park, which is a nice landmark for people who aren't from this exact street. The shop is a simple one, mostly catering to the local women who live around here in Kanpur. We handle all the basic stuff like hair trims, skin cleaning, and bridal touch-ups when it is the season for it. It gets pretty loud outside sometimes because of the market road, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. The chairs are a bit old but they still work fine. We don't try to be something we are not. It is just a place where you can come to get your grooming done without paying too much or waiting too long. Sometimes the park nearby is full of kids playing, and you can hear them from the shop while you sit. We have a regular flow of people throughout the day. Some come every two weeks like clockwork. We just keep our supplies ready and the floor swept. It is a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting, but everyone is patient and waits their turn. We just do the work as it comes. It is a simple life running a salon in this part of town and we have gotten used to the daily routine over the years of being here.
