Karan Hair Dresser

I've been running Karan Hair Dresser for a long time now. We are located at Shop No. C-4 in Geeta Bazar, right here in Shastri Nagar. It’s pretty easy to find us if you’re near Central Park in Kanpur. The shop is small but it does the job. Most days start early when people come in before work for a quick trim or a shave. We have some old chairs that have seen a lot of years, but they are comfortable enough. The mirrors are a bit spotted sometimes. People from the neighborhood stop by, and we talk about whatever is going on in the city. I handle most of the cutting myself. I don't use fancy machines, just the standard scissors and clippers that I’ve always used. The floor gets covered in hair quickly when it’s busy, so we sweep it up when there’s a break. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind. It’s just a regular place where you can get your hair done without a fuss. We don’t have a big waiting area, just a few stools along the wall. If there is a line, people just wait outside on the pavement or chat with the neighbors. Geeta Bazar is always crowded, so there is plenty to look at while you wait. I keep the shop open until late evening most days. It’s just how things go around here in Kanpur. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and the shop is like a second home to me.
