Amar Hair Dressers

Amar Hair Dressers is located at 2L/1 on the Dabauli Main Road in Kanpur. We are right there at the Dabauli Chauraha, which is a very noisy and crowded intersection. It’s a great spot because someone is always passing by. The shop has been here through many rainy seasons and hot summers. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have several chairs to handle the rush. Kanpur is a city that never really stops, and Dabauli is no different. We get all kinds of people coming in from the morning until we close at night. The sound of horns from the chauraha is something you just get used to after a while. I have a couple of guys working with me so we can keep the line moving. We keep the towels in a stack in the corner and the floor is usually covered in hair until we get a break to sweep it. Ratanlal Nagar is close by too, so we get folks from that side as well. The mirrors have some chips at the edges and the chairs squeak a bit when you adjust them, but they work fine. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know the shop because of the red and blue sign outside. It’s a busy life here at the crossroads, but we like being part of the neighborhood and serving the people who live around the chauraha.
