Anand Hair Dresser

My shop, Anand Hair Dresser, is over here on Hanuman Park Road in Kaushalpuri. It's been in this spot near Guru Nanak Girls College for a while now. Most days I’m just here cutting hair and chatting with folks from around Kanpur. It isn't a fancy place with big lights or anything like that. Just a few chairs and the usual tools I've used for years. People come in when they need a trim or a quick shave before work. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends when everyone has time off, so you might have to sit on the bench for a bit and wait your turn. I try to keep things simple. The mirrors are old but they show you what you need to see. I grew up around here and know most of the families on this street. It’s quiet enough except when the college lets out and there's more traffic moving past the door. I don't really do the fancy styling you see on TV, just regular haircuts that look decent. The shop opens early because I like to get a head start before the sun gets too hot. You can find us easily enough if you look for the Hanuman Park sign. It's just a regular local spot for the neighborhood guys to get cleaned up and catch up on the latest news around town. It is what it is, and I’ve been doing this for long enough that the shears feel like part of my hand.
