Hair Dresser Cutting Saloon

Lal Bangla is a crowded part of Kanpur, and Harjinder Nagar always has something going on. Our shop, Hair Dresser Cutting Saloon, is right in the middle of all that action. It is a basic setup with the usual chairs and mirrors that have seen many years of work. Kanpur can be quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the counters. The morning starts early before the sun gets too high and the streets get packed with rickshaws and bikes. We keep a radio playing most of the time, just some old songs or the news to keep us company. It is a place where you can hear the sounds of the local market nearby. We don't have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. Most of our customers are men from the surrounding streets who have been coming here since they were kids. It is funny seeing how people grow up over the years. We just keep our tools sharp and the floor swept. There is nothing fancy about the place, no bright neon lights or anything like that. Just a simple wooden door and a sign. People come in, have a seat, talk about the weather or the local news, and then go about their day. It is a steady life here in Lal Bangla, and we like being part of the daily routine for the neighborhood folks. We just keep it simple every day.
