Golden Hair Dressar

The shop is Shop No. 5 on Hamirpur Road in the Naubasta area, specifically over in Anand Vihar. If you know Kanpur, you know this road gets a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing through every day. Golden Hair Dressar is right there on the main stretch. It is a small room with a tiled floor that we have to sweep every twenty minutes because of all the hair that collects. We have some basic equipment and a few bottles of oil and cream on the shelves. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby area or families living in Anand Vihar. I have been working here for quite some time, and I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. We do haircuts, shaves, and the occasional beard trim. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rely on the sunlight coming through the front door, but we manage to keep going. It is a simple life, really. I start my day by cleaning the glass and setting out the tools for work. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements to bring people in. People just know we are here because we have been in the same spot for so long. The chairs are a bit old and they squeak when you sit down, but they are solid and get the job done. We just aim to give a proper haircut and send people on their way.
