Globe Tanners

We've been at No.52-A on 150 Feet Road for a long time now. Jajmau is a busy place, and Globe Tanners is right in the middle of all that activity. It gets quite dusty around here with all the traffic, but we just keep doing what we do. The leather business is tough work, and it's not always pretty. We spend most of our mornings checking the hides and making sure things are moving along like they should. Some of the machines are old, but they still work fine if you treat them right. We aren't a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s mostly just us working through the piles of skins. You might see a few of us taking a tea break near the gate in the afternoon when it gets really hot. That's just how life is here. We handle the tanning process from start to finish, and it takes a lot of water and time. Sometimes the smell is strong, but after years in Jajmau, you don't even notice it anymore. We just focus on getting the orders ready. It’s not about being the biggest, it’s just about staying busy and keeping the shop running. People know where to find us if they need anything. We don't spend much on ads or anything like that. Word travels fast enough around 150 Feet Road. We've seen neighbors come and go, but Globe Tanners stays put. It's just a regular day here, every day.
