Glamouras Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is located at 119/39 Nasimabad, right in the middle of the Gumti No-5 area on G. T. Road. Being near the railway crossing means we hear the trains go by all day long. It’s a noisy part of Kanpur, but we are used to it now. Glamouras Beauty Parlour has been here for a bit, serving the women who live around this side of the tracks. We do all the usual things like eyebrows, facials, and hair coloring. The space is a bit small, so things can get crowded on the weekends when everyone wants their work done at the same time. We usually have the door open if the weather is nice, though the dust from G. T. Road is always a bit of a problem. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving inside the shop. Most of our customers are locals who stop by while they are out doing their grocery shopping at the market nearby. We don’t really advertise much. People just see the sign while they are waiting for the railway gate to open and decide to come in. It’s a practical setup. We have some tea in the back, and the mirrors have seen a lot of faces over the years. It is just a humble place where we get on with our work day after day and make sure the place stays clean for everyone.
