Gauri Tanners

We are Gauri Tanners, and our place is located at 92/11, Pech Bagh. This neighborhood has a lot of history to it, and we are glad to be a small part of the daily life here. Tanning is hard, physical work, and that is what we spend most of our time doing. The building we work in isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it is where we get everything done. Pech Bagh is a lively area, so there is always some kind of activity happening outside our doors. We just keep our heads down and get on with the day’s work. It involves a lot of manual labor, moving heavy hides and keeping an eye on the tanning process. We don’t use any fancy marketing language to describe what happens here. It is just tanning, plain and simple. Some days are much longer than others, especially when the weather isn't cooperating with us. We have a set routine that has worked for a long time. Most people who come to see us are regulars who have known the address for years. We don’t really do much to promote ourselves. The work just gets done, and word gets around. We focus on the practical side of things instead of worrying about image. There is plenty of dust and noise, but that is just normal life at 92/11. We just show up and keep the business running.
