Eve Leather

We've been at 539 (A-1) on Guggupurwa Allied Street for a while now. It’s a busy spot right near D.T.S. School in Jaimau. If you walk by in the morning, you can usually hear the sounds of work starting up. We deal with leather every single day. It’s what we know. The shop isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside, but it’s where we get things done. Most of us here grew up around this kind of work, so it feels natural. Some days the dust gets everywhere and the street is crowded with parents dropping off kids at the school, but we don't mind. We just keep our heads down and handle the hides. The address is easy to find once you see the school gate. We’ve got stacks of material in the back and a few workbenches that have seen better days. It’s a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in, but we manage. My hands are usually stained with something or other by lunchtime. People in Jaimau know us as the leather place on the corner. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the door. We don't spend much time on the computer, we'd rather be working with the tools. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's just a regular local business trying to make things that last. We like it here on Allied Street.
