Dashing Mens Parlour

The shop is called Dashing Mens Parlour and you can find us at D-73/A on Labour Colony Road. It is right in the Govind Nagar area of Kanpur, pretty close to Natraj Viva if you know that spot. We have been cutting hair here for quite a while and it is mostly just us doing the usual stuff like shaves and trims. The morning starts with sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready for the first person. It is a man's world here, lots of talk about cricket or what is happening in the news. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded especially when the weather is nice and everyone wants to go out. We have those old-style chairs that are actually quite comfortable once you sit down. The mirrors are a bit old but they do the job just fine for seeing the results. Labor Colony Road is usually busy with traffic so there is always noise outside, but inside we just focus on the hair. It is not one of those expensive places where they charge you for the air conditioning. We just use the fans and keep the door open most of the time. People come from all over Govind Nagar because they trust how we handle the scissors. It is hard work standing all day but we are used to it by now.
