Chai Beauty Parlour

Chai Beauty Parlour is located at 8/17 in Gumti No-5, Kanpur. We are on Bamba Road, right by Sanjha Hall. If you know Kanpur, you know Gumti is a very crowded and busy market area. There is always something going on outside our door. The noise of rickshaws and people talking is constant. We are in a small unit. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three people waiting, but we make it work. Sanjha Hall is right there, so sometimes we get people coming in before a function or a wedding to get their hair done. It keeps us on our toes. We have been working at this Bamba Road location for quite a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the mirrors are clean and the equipment works. We do a lot of basic grooming. Nothing over the top. Most of our customers are from the surrounding apartments. We usually have the radio on in the background to drown out some of the street noise. It’s a busy life here in Gumti. We open early and stay until the market starts to wind down at night. It’s a long day, but being near Sanjha Hall means we are never bored. There is always something to see. We just do the work and try to stay organized. We are just a normal part of the street.
