Chahat Beauty Parlour

Our shop, Chahat Beauty Parlour, is situated at 118/58 on Bamba Road. We are in the Kaushalpuri area of Kanpur, specifically near Gomti No-5. It’s a busy little stretch of road. We’ve been here serving the local ladies for a long time. The parlor is small and simple. We do threading, wax, and hair work. It’s the kind of place where people feel okay coming in their house clothes just to get something done quickly. We don’t have those big leather chairs or air conditioning that freezes you out. It’s just a local Kanpur shop. The Bamba Road area is always noisy with rickshaws and people, so there is a lot of energy around. We know our regulars well; we know their families and what they like. It’s more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We have our tools and our creams and we just get to it. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a small backup or we just wait it out. That’s just life here. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city. We just want to make sure the women in Kaushalpuri have a place to go that is close to home and doesn't cost too much. It is just a plain shop for plain needs and we like it that way.
