Our setup is over in Civil Lines, specifically at 14/29 Nawab Compound. It’s an area with a lot of history and we’ve been tucked away here for a good bit now. We work mostly with leather, so the place has that specific smell to it. Not everyone likes it, but we’ve grown fond of it over time. It’s more of a workshop feel than a store. We spend most of our hours cutting, sewing, and making sure the pieces look right before they head out. The compound can get a bit hectic during the day with deliveries coming and going all the time. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us in the back working away. We keep the tools sharp and the benches messy, that’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things by hand. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We prefer it that way so we can concentrate. Most people who find us have heard about the place from someone else or just happened to walk by. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing fancy descriptions. We just stick to the leather work. It’s what we know best. If the door is open, someone is probably busy at a table. We’ve been at this for years and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. We have a couple of old chairs for visitors but they are mostly covered in scrap pieces.
