Anil Hair Dresser

Anil Hair Dresser is located right on Karrahi Road, near the Barra By Pass. If you know the Tyagi Market area in Barra II, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve got the shop set up with the basic things a barber needs. A couple of chairs, some mirrors that have seen better days, and the radio usually playing some old songs in the background. It gets pretty humid in here during the rainy season, so the fans are always on full blast. Most of the people who come in are guys from the neighborhood who just want a quick cut so they can get on with their day. We don’t do any of those complicated styles you see on TV, just standard haircuts and a decent shave. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. The market outside is always full of people buying vegetables or kids running around, so there’s always something to look at through the front window. I’ve been working in this spot for a while now, and I know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s a small shop, but it’s ours. We don’t need anything more than that to get the job done. It's just a regular place for regular people to get their hair sorted out without any fuss.
