We've been at this spot on Allied Street for quite some time now. Jajmau is always busy, and our place at 379-C is no different. It’s a lot of manual work, dealing with different types of leather finishes every single day. The air usually smells of raw hides and chemicals, which is just how it is in this part of town. Our team mostly consists of local guys who know the trade well. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small space for paperwork. Most days involve a lot of shouting over the machines and making sure the batches are coming out right. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just wait it out or use the backup generator. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People know where to find us if they need leather processed properly. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere. The trucks come in early, and we start unloading right away. It’s a steady rhythm that hasn't changed much over the years. We focus on getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our gate. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less. Just a bunch of people working with leather until the sun goes down.
