Snehalaya Farmers Producer Companylimited

We are over at K.P. 13/720 in Kodakkad Centre, which is where Snehalaya Farmers Producer Companylimited operates from. It is a quiet enough spot. A few of us got together because farming around here has its ups and downs and doing things on your own is getting harder every year. You might see us sitting around the office talking about crops or the weather more than actually filing papers. We deal with what the local land gives us. It’s not a big fancy office, just a room where we try to coordinate what the different farmers in the group are growing. Some days it is busy with people coming in to talk about seeds or what they are harvesting next week. Other days it's just quiet. We didn’t really plan to make a big company, it just happened because we needed a way to manage things together as a group. The name Snehalaya kind of stuck after a while. People know where to find us if they need to talk about the local produce. We spend a lot of time just figuring out how to get things from the field to wherever they need to go. It is mostly just hard work and a lot of talking over tea. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know the door is usually open. There isn't much to the place, just some desks and the smell of the outdoors coming in through the windows. It’s how we like it.
