We are based out of Kandamkari House over in Paisakkarri. It is part of the Payyavoor area in Kannur, and that is where most of us are from. Nammudevipani Farmers Producer Companylimited was started because a lot of the local farmers around here needed a way to get things done together instead of everyone trying to figure it out on their own. It gets pretty busy around our office, especially during the harvest times when people are coming by to talk about their crops. We handle a lot of the day-to-day work that comes with being a producer company. Most of us have lived in Kannur our whole lives, so we know the land and the weather patterns pretty well. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to Paisakkarri a bit of a mess, but we still manage to get there. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers in the neighborhood. We do not have a big team of corporate people, just some locals who know about agriculture and want to help the group stay organized.
