Green Valley Public School Jahu

Green Valley Public School Jahu is located in a quiet part of the Hamirpur district. Being in Jahu means we aren't in the middle of a big city, which is something we actually like. The school is situated at the 176048 address, and it serves a lot of the surrounding villages. It’s a simple setup with a few buildings and a yard where the kids play. We don't have a staff of writers to make us sound like some elite institution. We are just a local school. Every morning, you can see the kids arriving on foot or by bus, carrying their bags and talking about their homework. The teachers are mostly people from right here in Himachal who understand the local way of life. We focus on the basics of the curriculum and try to keep things as organized as possible. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, and sometimes the wind blows through the hallways, but we just deal with it. It’s a very honest kind of place. We don’t make big claims about being the best or anything like that. We just provide a place for the children in Jahu to get an education. Parents come in to talk to us about their kids, and we have those conversations over a cup of tea in the small office. It’s a community effort, and we are just glad to be a part of it.
